How I Got Here
The irony about connecting with anxious others is… we’re hard to find.
I don’t know about you, but I won’t be putting my face in front of a camera and go all over the internet anytime soon. I mean, that’s just asking for a panic attack.
Also, I’m not a Pulitzer Prize winner. I haven’t earned any Nobel Prizes, either.
So why am I here?
Great question.
As an anxious human, I entered the field of psychology to learn more about mental health and support others. I’ve spent years trying (imperfectly) to understand myself and the minds around me.
Through the process, I’ve learned that conversations about mental health matter.
And I’ve learned that not taking yourself too seriously matters.
This series is both: A playful mix of what I know, what I’m learning, and what I’m still figuring out.
“This is not for me” (or is it?)
Well, do you want something more interesting and thought provoking than “just breathe?”
The Chill Report is a weekly email series for people like me who think too much and feel even more.
If you are: quietly overwhelmed, chronically overthinking, and craving relatability, this series is for you.
What you’ll get
I strive to create a space where psychology, personal reflection, and lighthearted humor meet.
New weekly posts will contain a mix of insights from a therapist (me), some nerdy mini-dives into research, and sensitive suggestions on managing stress, anxiety, and being human — learned through sitting on both sides of the couch.
I am committed to writing with clarity curiosity, and care, so you can feel less alone, more grounded, and maybe even a little lighter.

I agree, psychology and mental health 'stuff' don't need to be so serious 🙂✨
I offer the same take on spirituality. Humor is medicine !
